The Women of World War 2.

December 8th 2009 02:25
I just found out that the Library of Congress has put a massive portion of it's archive online most notably an enormous amount of photographic content including the very thing I stumbled upon tonight. Beautiful color photos from the World War 2 era. I decided to focus on women in uniform. Because well these women became unintentional pin-up girls and we should thank them for their service.

could you maybe also post the URL of where you found these photos? I could not find them on the LOC website and would love to see any others they have.
