And they knew we'd have fast trains shooting over highways, like in the picture above.
Ok, ok, that one came true.
What about robotic polo, played on water?
Sure, we could do it.. But who would want to? Admit it, that's a lame use of technology.
Sadly, we didn't create colonies on the moon, despite the insistence from Stephen Hawking. He's worried about nothing... as if we'd destroy the planet! Ha ha! You'd need a huge bomb to destroy the Earth, containing massive amount of energy in a tiny pellet of fuel. That's crazy talk!
Honestly, quite a few of the illustrations are dull... too many of them seem to be obsessed with watercraft. I'm sorry, but we have boats, and they work pretty well. I don't need a big bubble to roll my ass around the lake.
And, no, I don't need new ways to ski. We have skis and, now, snowboards. If I need more variety, I'll just slide down the mountain on my belly.
