Raquel Welch

A personal favorite of mine, Raquel Welch was a knockout in 60s, known for that iconic poster of her in the fur bra, running away from a dinosaur. Here it is:
Incredible, isn't it? Welch made us all want to be cavemen again, when the women were beautifully buxom, and being a man meant fighting dinosaurs all day long, then coming home to the tender caresses of your caveman wife.
The image is from the movie One Million Years B.C., which is a cult classic now, thanks to Welch.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Irish and Spanish parents, and was found acting in plays from a young age. She married a man with the last name of Welch, but divorced him soon after, keeping the name and abandoning her maiden name, Urquizo. What's wrong with Urquizo?
According to Wikipedia, she lost out for the part as Mary-Ann on Gilligan's Island. It's probably better that she didn't get the role, as it would have invaded my pre-pubescent dreams. There's only so much a boy can take!
She's still active in the acting community, starring in several Hollywood productions, but without the raw sex appeal that she was cast for in the 60s. She's still a stunning woman, though, with the maturity and grace that age can bring:
